AurexTV – IPTV Subscription for the US, UK, Canada and Australia

How to Set Up the Smart IPTV App by MAC Address

Smart IPTV, which you will also see written as SIPTV, is a deliberately minimal player for Samsung and LG televisions, and the first time you open it, it looks broken, because there is no login screen at all. That is by design. Instead of typing a username and password on the television, you upload your playlist against that television's own MAC address on the developer's website, and the app then pulls it down. It is an unusual way of working, but it is exactly why the app stays quick and light on TV hardware that struggles with heavier players. Setup takes about seven minutes, most of which is done on a phone or laptop rather than the television. Because AurexTV runs on a 24-hour trial, you can prove it on your own set before committing to anything. One thing to know up front: Smart IPTV gives you a short free trial on each television, after which it asks for a small one-time activation for that set, paid to the app's own developer and entirely separate from your AurexTV subscription. The app is available across Samsung and LG stores in the US, UK, Canada and Australia. Your AurexTV trial runs independently of the app fee, so you can confirm the channels before deciding on either.

What you need

  • Your AurexTV M3U playlist link (from your welcome message)
  • A Samsung or LG smart TV with the Smart IPTV app installed
  • The MAC address the app shows on the television
  • A phone or laptop to do the upload

Not set up yet? Start a free 24-hour trial or pick a plan. Activation is instant, with nothing to commit to.

Step-by-step setup

  1. Have your AurexTV details ready

Smart IPTV uses your M3U link rather than the Xtream values, so find that link in your welcome message and keep it on the device you will do the upload from, usually a phone or laptop. Guard the link as you would a password, because anyone who has it has your subscription. If you cannot find it, ask support to resend it before you begin.

    Get your AurexTV login

  2. Install Smart IPTV and note the MAC

Search the Samsung or LG store for "Smart IPTV" and install it. Open it once and write down the MAC address it displays on screen, including the colons, because the next step is done on a different device and you will need to type it there exactly. This MAC is the key that ties your playlist to this particular television.

  3. Upload your playlist at siptv.app

On the phone or laptop, go to siptv.app/mylist. Enter the MAC address exactly as the television showed it, paste your AurexTV M3U link into the URL field, tick "Keep online" so the list stays linked, and press Send. This is the moment the television and your playlist are connected, and it happens on the website, not the TV.

  4. Restart the app and build favorites

Close Smart IPTV on the television and open it again; the channels and the guide now load from the playlist you just uploaded. Spend a few minutes marking your regular channels as favorites and hiding the groups you never watch, so the daily list is short. The app is deliberately simple, which makes this quick.

  5. Set the guide to your time zone

Smart IPTV takes its times from the television clock, so if the guide looks shifted, correct the TV rather than the app. On a Samsung set the clock under Settings, General, System Manager, Time; on an LG set it under Settings, General, Time and Date. Choose automatic and the correct US, UK, Canada or Australia zone, then reopen the app.

  6. Activate after the free trial

You get a short free trial on that television, after which the app asks for a small one-time activation for that specific set at siptv.app/activation. That payment goes to the Smart IPTV developer and has nothing to do with your AurexTV subscription; we take no part in it and it does not affect your account.

  7. Run through the first-night checklist

Before you rely on it, confirm several channels play, the guide shows the right programs, and your favorites are saved. If the list uploaded but the TV shows nothing, the MAC was likely mistyped, as the errors section explains. And keep in mind your AurexTV trial is no-commitment: you decide over WhatsApp whether to keep the subscription regardless of the app fee.

Common errors and fixes

The list uploaded but the TV shows nothing

Wait a minute and restart the app before assuming it failed. If it is still empty, the MAC address is almost always the cause: check it was entered at siptv.app exactly as the television shows it, colons included, because a single wrong character sends your playlist to a set that does not exist. Smart IPTV also holds only one playlist per television at a time.

It says the playlist has expired

That message is about the app, not your AurexTV subscription, and it usually appears after a reinstall or a factory reset cleared the stored list. Simply upload your M3U again at siptv.app/mylist against the same MAC address, and the channels return. Nothing has happened to your account or your remaining subscription time.

The app asks for activation sooner than expected

The free trial is per television and short by design, and it does not reset by reinstalling. The one-time activation is paid to the app developer at siptv.app/activation and unlocks that set permanently. If you would rather not pay an app fee at all, IPTV Smarters on the same television is free and takes the Xtream login instead.

The upload page reports an error

If siptv.app rejects the upload, the M3U link was likely pasted with a stray space or a missing character, so copy it again cleanly and retry. The MAC must also be entered in full with its colons. If the page itself is down, wait a short while and try again, as it occasionally goes offline briefly.

Smart IPTV (SIPTV) IPTV FAQ

What is the difference between Smart IPTV and SSIPTV?

They are separate apps by different developers that solve the same problem in nearly the same way, and the similar names cause endless confusion. Smart IPTV uses the MAC upload described above, while SSIPTV can take a link directly on the television. Either works with AurexTV, so use whichever your TV store actually stocks in your country.

Is the Smart IPTV app free?

It is free for a short trial on each television, then asks for a small one-time activation for that specific set, paid to the app developer rather than to us. That fee unlocks the app itself and is separate from your AurexTV subscription. If you prefer no app fee, IPTV Smarters is a free alternative on the same TV.

Why is there no login screen in the app?

By design. Smart IPTV keeps itself light for TV hardware by moving the setup off the television and onto the developer website, where you link your M3U to the set MAC address. It looks odd the first time, but it is exactly why the app stays fast on older Samsung and LG sets that struggle with heavier players.

Is the Smart IPTV app the same as my subscription?

No, they are separate things. Smart IPTV is a player app with its own small one-time fee paid to its developer, while AurexTV is the subscription that fills it with channels. Paying the app fee does not extend your subscription, and paying for the subscription does not cover the app; they are billed by different people.

Can I use Smart IPTV in the UK, Canada or Australia?

Yes. The app is stocked across Samsung and LG stores in the US, UK, Canada and Australia, and the MAC-upload method is identical everywhere. Only the television clock is country-specific, and the time-zone step covers it so the guide shows the correct local times for your region.
