Step-by-step setup
Have your AurexTV details ready and find the MAC
This box is different from the others, so the first job is to find its MAC address. It is printed on the label underneath the box and also shown under Settings, then System or About; on a MAG it usually begins 00:1A:79. Send that MAC to support on WhatsApp along with your account, and wait for confirmation, because the portal will not work until it is switched on at our end.
Wait for your portal URL
Once we have your MAC, we bind your portal and send you the portal URL to enter. This is the one part you cannot rush past, but it is quick; the moment the confirmation arrives you can carry straight on. If anything looks off later, a wrong character in the MAC is almost always the reason, so send a photo of the label rather than retyping it.
On a MAG: enter the portal URL
Open Settings, then System settings, then Servers, then Portals. Give Portal 1 any name you like, paste in the portal address we sent, and save. Now restart the box fully; a MAG does not load the portal until it reboots, and skipping the restart is the single most common reason people think it has not worked.
On a Formuler: use MyTVOnline
Open MyTVOnline 2 or 3 and choose Add Portal, giving it a name and the portal address. Alternatively, a Formuler will also accept a standard Xtream Codes login if you prefer that, and because it runs Android underneath it can even run TiViMate. For most people the portal route is the simplest, so start there.
Set the box time zone
Both MAG and Formuler boxes carry their own clock, and the guide follows it. On a MAG go to Settings, System settings, Time, and set the correct time zone with NTP on; on a Formuler the clock is under the Android system settings. Getting this right for the US, UK, Canada or Australia is what makes the built-in guide show programs at the times they actually air.
Build your favorites
After the restart the box loads the 25,000+ channels with its built-in guide. Use the colored buttons on the remote to mark favorites and to open the EPG; a MAG remote in particular is built for this and is quicker than any app. A few minutes gathering your regular channels turns a long list into a short, personal one.
Run through the first-night checklist
Before you sit back, confirm several channels open promptly, that the guide shows the right programs at the right times, and that your favorites are saved. If you see "STB blocked" or a blank portal, the MAC almost certainly needs a moment more or a correction, as covered below. And the trial stays no-commitment: you keep or cancel over WhatsApp whenever you decide.
Common errors and fixes
The portal shows STB blocked or a blank screen
Either the MAC has not been activated yet, or one character was wrong when it was sent. The fastest fix is to photograph the label under the box and send us the picture rather than retyping the MAC, which removes any chance of a typo. In almost every case this resolves within a few minutes of us receiving the correct MAC.
The MAG loaded the portal but shows no channels
This is nearly always the missing restart. Reboot the box fully from the power, not just the standby button, and let it come back up; a MAG only reads the portal on a cold start. If it is still empty after a full restart, the portal address itself may carry a typo, so check it character by character against the one we sent.
The guide times are wrong on the box
The built-in EPG follows the box clock, so wrong times mean the time zone or NTP is off. On a MAG, set Settings, System settings, Time to your zone with NTP enabled; on a Formuler, correct it in the Android date and time settings. Restart afterward and the listings will realign to what is actually broadcasting.
The remote is unresponsive after setup
A MAG or Formuler remote that lags is usually low on battery or on a weak line of sight rather than faulty. Replace the batteries and point it squarely at the box. On a Formuler, the Bluetooth remote must be paired in the Android settings, which is separate from the box simply powering on.
Which app is best for this device
TiViMate
Set up TiViMate on Android TV, Firestick or an Android box with your AurexTV Xtream login, load the EPG and browse 25,000+ channels in five minutes.

MAG and Formuler box IPTV FAQ
Is a MAG box better than a Firestick for IPTV?
On a main television used every day, yes: a better remote, a faster guide and nothing to sideload, ever. It costs more than a stick, though, so it is a considered purchase rather than an impulse one. On a spare bedroom set a Fire TV Stick is the better value and no one will notice the difference.
Why do I have to send my MAC address?
Because a MAG portal is bound to the individual box rather than to a username and password. Sending the MAC is how we attach your AurexTV subscription to that specific unit, which is also what makes these boxes so stable once running. A Formuler can skip this if you use its Xtream login instead of the portal.
Can a Formuler run TiViMate as well?
Yes. Formuler boxes run Android underneath, so alongside MyTVOnline they will install TiViMate and IPTV Smarters from the usual sources and take your Xtream login. Many owners set up the portal first for its stability and add TiViMate later once they want its guide and recording features. Both can coexist on the same box.
Do MAG and Formuler boxes work the same in every country?
Yes. The same MAG and Formuler models are sold across the US, UK, Canada and Australia, and the portal setup does not change by country. The only country-specific setting is the box time zone, which the guide covers so the built-in guide shows programs at the right local times for you.
Can I move my portal to a new box?
Yes, but because the portal is bound to the box MAC address, a new box has a new MAC. Send us the new MAC on WhatsApp and we rebind your portal to it, usually within a few minutes. Your subscription time carries over; it is only the hardware link that changes.
