Step-by-step setup
Have your AurexTV details ready
Before you open the App Store, find the message that started your trial and note your server URL, username and password. On an iPhone this pays off twice, because you can later paste each value straight from that message into the app instead of typing it with the on-screen keyboard, which is where most sign-in mistakes come from.
Open the App Store
On Apple TV the App Store sits on the home screen; on an iPhone or iPad it is the familiar blue icon. Make sure your Apple ID is signed in, since a shared family device sometimes is not, and that will block the install without a clear explanation.
Install a player
Search for "IPTV Smarters Player". Install it; it is free. If you would rather have a more polished interface, "iPlayTV" and "GSE Smart IPTV" are paid alternatives that do the same job. Skip anything named TiviMato or Tivimax, which are not TiViMate and not what you want. On Apple TV you can also type the search on your iPhone to save fighting the on-screen keyboard.
Sign in with Xtream Codes
Open the app, accept the disclaimer, and choose the Xtream Codes option. Enter your server URL, username and password, and on the iPhone paste each field directly from your welcome message to avoid typos. Confirm, and the app pulls in your channels, guide and on-demand library over the next minute.
Build favorites across your devices
Mark the channels you watch as favorites so the list is short and personal. A neat detail of the Apple setup is that your account, not the app, holds the subscription, so favorites you set on the iPhone are separate from the Apple TV; take a couple of minutes on each screen to get both the way you like them.
Set the guide to your time zone
The guide reads the device clock, so if listings look shifted, check the device rather than the app. On Apple TV go to Settings, General, Date and Time; on an iPhone or iPad open Settings, General, Date and Time, leave Set Automatically on and confirm the time zone is right for the US, UK, Canada or Australia. Reopen the player and the guide aligns.
Run through the first-night checklist
Give it a quick trial run: several channels start within a few seconds, the guide shows the right programs, and your favorites are in place. If a channel refuses to play while the list loads fine, switch the player engine, which the errors section explains. And remember there is no lock-in here; you keep or cancel the subscription over WhatsApp whenever you choose.
Common errors and fixes
The channel list loads but a stream will not play
Some feeds use codecs that Apple devices decode only with the right engine selected. In the app settings, switch the player from the default to VLC or FFmpeg and try the channel again. This single setting resolves the large majority of will-not-play cases on iOS and tvOS.
The app is missing from my country App Store
Because the App Store is tied to your Apple ID region, an app listed in one country may not appear in another. IPTV Smarters Player is available across the US, UK, Canadian and Australian stores, so start there; if you use a paid alternative that is absent in your region, the free player is the reliable fallback.
AirPlay drops or stutters to the Apple TV
AirPlay leans hard on your Wi-Fi, so drops usually mean the network rather than the stream. Keep the iPhone and the Apple TV on the same band, move closer to the router, or better still install the player directly on the Apple TV so nothing is being relayed across the room in the first place.
The App Store will not let me install anything
This is usually the Apple ID rather than the app. Confirm you are signed in under Settings, and that Screen Time or content restrictions are not blocking new installs, which is common on a device shared with children. Once the restriction is lifted, the free player installs normally without any further changes.

Is there an IPTV Smarters app for Apple TV?
Yes. IPTV Smarters Player is on the tvOS App Store and it is free. It takes the Xtream login and shows the guide, catch-up and on-demand sections just like the phone version. TiViMate, to be clear, genuinely does not exist on Apple TV, whatever the similarly named listings might suggest.
Can I watch AurexTV on my Mac?
Three ways. Install IPTV Smarters Player from the Mac App Store, open your M3U link in VLC or IINA, or use the browser web player with nothing to install at all. The Windows PC and Mac guide walks through each option in turn if you want the detail.
Can I AirPlay a channel to my TV instead of installing anything?
Yes. Play a channel on your iPhone or iPad and AirPlay it to an Apple TV or an AirPlay-capable television in the same room. It is a fair option if you would rather not set anything up on the TV itself, though installing the player directly on the Apple TV gives a steadier picture.
Why can I not find TiViMate on Apple TV?
Because it does not exist there. TiViMate has only ever been an Android app, so anything on the Apple App Store using a similar name is an unrelated product. Use IPTV Smarters Player on Apple TV and iPhone instead; it takes the same login and does the job well.
Can I use one login across my iPhone, iPad and Apple TV?
Yes. Install the player on each and sign in with the same Xtream details; the plan limits how many streams play at once rather than how many devices are set up. Favorites are set per device, so take a moment on each, but the subscription itself is shared across all your Apple hardware.
