Step-by-step setup
Have your AurexTV details ready
Because you will use the same three values on every device, it is worth saving them somewhere handy at the start. Open your welcome message and note the server URL, which looks like http://server.com:8080, plus your username and password. Keep them on your phone, since you will reach for them each time you add another screen, and the username and password are case sensitive.
Install Smarters for your device
Where you get it depends on the hardware. Android TV and phones take it from Google Play. A Firestick needs a sideload through Downloader, which the Firestick guide covers step by step. Samsung and LG carry it in their own stores as "IPTV Smarters". On Apple, search "IPTV Smarters Player". For Windows and Mac, download the installer from the official IPTV Smarters site.
Choose Login with Xtream Codes API
Accept the disclaimer on the first screen, then pick the Xtream Codes option rather than the M3U one. Xtream is the better path here because it pulls the guide and the on-demand library automatically, whereas an M3U often does not, so unless support has specifically told you to use M3U, take Xtream every time.
Enter your AurexTV login
Give the profile any name at all, then type the username, password and server URL exactly as sent, including the http:// and the port. Tap Add User. The app begins downloading channels, on-demand titles and the guide; give it a minute on the first run and do not judge an empty screen in the first thirty seconds.
Build favorites and load the EPG
Once the list appears, mark the channels you watch as favorites so the app opens to something short and useful. Then, under Settings, EPG, switch on "Enable EPG on live TV" so the guide shows while a channel plays. The guide can take a few minutes to fill in fully across a large channel list, which is normal.
Set the guide to your time zone and player
The guide reads the device clock, so if the times look off, correct the device rather than the app, choosing the right US, UK, Canada or Australia zone. While you are in Settings, open Player settings and select the built-in player with hardware decoding. If a single channel stutters while everything else is fine, change just that one channel to software decoding from its player menu.
Run through the first-night checklist
Before you rely on it, confirm several channels play, the guide shows the correct programs, and your favorites are saved. Then repeat the same login on any other screen you own, which now takes about a minute each. And keep in mind the trial is no-commitment, so you renew or cancel over WhatsApp whenever it suits you.
Common errors and fixes
It says your account is expired
That message is the subscription reaching its end date, not a fault in the app. Renew over WhatsApp and the very same credentials start working again within minutes; nothing needs reinstalling and none of your favorites or settings are lost. If it says expired the day you signed up, the clock or time zone on the device may be wrong, so check that first.
The channel list is empty after login
Pull down to refresh, then sign out and back in. If it is still bare, something in the server URL is almost certainly wrong, and the port number on the end is the usual offender. Retype the URL, username and password by hand once rather than pasting, since text copied from a chat often carries an invisible space.
The app keeps closing on a Firestick
Clear its cache under Settings, Applications, Manage installed applications, then reopen it. If it still crashes, remove it and sideload a current build, because an old Smarters APK left on newer Fire OS is a common cause of repeated closes. A quick restart of the stick after reinstalling often settles it for good.
The on-demand or catch-up sections are missing
Those sections only appear when you sign in with the Xtream login rather than an M3U, so if they are absent, check which method you used and switch to Xtream Codes. After signing in, give the app a minute to build the libraries; on a first load they can lag behind the live channels for a short while.

IPTV Smarters Pro IPTV FAQ
Is IPTV Smarters Pro free?
The app is free on every platform and always has been. What catches people out is that it opens empty: it carries no channels of its own and needs a subscription entered as an Xtream login before anything appears. Nothing is ever charged inside the app itself, so any prompt asking for card details there is not part of the genuine player.
What is the IPTV Smarters Pro subscription?
There is no such product on its own. People searching that phrase want a service that runs inside the app, which is exactly what AurexTV is: an Xtream Codes account carrying the full channel list and on-demand library, entered once and then working on every device you own. The app is the shell; the subscription is what fills it.
Smarters Pro or TiViMate, which should I use?
Smarters is free, simple and runs on everything, which makes it the right default. TiViMate has a noticeably better guide plus recording and multi-view, but it exists only on Android and its best features sit behind a paid upgrade. If live sport on an Android device is your priority, TiViMate is worth it; otherwise Smarters is entirely enough.
Does IPTV Smarters work in the UK, Canada and Australia?
Yes. The app is available across the US, UK, Canadian and Australian stores, and the desktop builds are the same everywhere, so these steps do not change by country. The only region setting that matters is the device clock, which the time-zone step covers so your guide shows the right times.
Can I try Smarters before paying for a plan?
Yes. The app itself is always free, and AurexTV starts on a trial, so you install Smarters, sign in and watch before deciding on a plan. Nothing is stored in the app to charge you, so if you choose not to continue you simply do not renew over WhatsApp.
