What you need
- Your AurexTV details ready: server URL, username and password (they arrive by email or WhatsApp when your trial or plan starts)
- An Amazon Fire TV Stick, any generation (the 4K or 4K Max is worth it on a main TV)
- The stick already set up with your Amazon account and connected to the internet
- A wired or Wi-Fi connection of about 25 Mbps or more
- Five spare minutes and the remote within reach
Not set up yet? Start a free 24-hour trial or pick a plan. Activation is instant, with nothing to commit to.
Step-by-step setup
Have your AurexTV details ready
Do this before you touch the stick and the rest goes quickly. Open the email or WhatsApp message that started your trial and find three things: the server URL (it looks like http://something.com:8080), your username and your password. Keep that message open on your phone, because you will read those values across the room and the username and password are case sensitive. If you cannot find the message, ask support to resend it rather than guessing.
Turn on installs from unknown sources
A Fire TV blocks outside apps until you say otherwise. From the home screen go to Settings, then My Fire TV, then Developer Options, and switch on "Apps from Unknown Sources". Some newer builds hide that switch until an app actually asks for it, so if the option is missing, do not worry: it reappears later as "Install unknown apps" listed against Downloader, and you flip it then.
Install the Downloader app
Return to the home screen, open the search icon at the top left, and type Downloader. The one you want is bright orange, published by AFTVnews. Select it, choose Get or Download, and let it install. Open it once so it finishes setting itself up, and approve the storage permission it requests, because the next step quietly fails without it.
Sideload IPTV Smarters through Downloader
Inside Downloader, click the address field and type the short download link support sent you, or the official IPTV Smarters APK address. Press Go. The file downloads and the installer opens by itself: choose Install, wait, then Done. When it offers to delete the downloaded file, say yes; it is only the installer and clearing it frees space on the stick.
Sign in with Xtream Codes
The new app lands under Your Apps and Channels near the bottom of the home screen, which is where people assume it failed to install. Open it, accept the disclaimer, and pick "Login with Xtream Codes API". Give the profile any name, then type your username, password and server URL exactly as sent, including the http:// and the port number. Choose Add User and it starts pulling the channel list.
Build a row of favorites
A list this big is only useful once it is trimmed. Open Live TV, browse the categories, and when you land on a channel you actually watch, hold the select button to mark it a favorite. Spend five minutes gathering thirty or forty channels into your favorites row and the stick stops feeling like a phone book and starts feeling like a television you own.
Set the guide to your time zone
The program guide reads its start times from the clock on the stick, so if it shows an hour out, the fix is on the device, not in the app. Go to Settings, Preferences, Time Zone and confirm it matches where you live, whether that is the US, the UK, Canada or Australia. Back in the app, open Settings, EPG and turn on the guide overlay so it shows while a channel plays.
Run through the first-night checklist
Before you settle in, check five quick things. One: two or three different channels open within a few seconds. Two: the guide shows the right programs at the right time. Three: your favorites row is built. Four: if any channel stutters, go to Settings, Player settings and switch the decoder to hardware. Five: note that you can renew or cancel over WhatsApp whenever you like. That is the whole point of starting on a trial.
Common errors and fixes
Downloader says the file cannot be downloaded
Nine times out of ten this is a mistyped address, so re-enter it slowly and check every character, or ask support for the current mirror link. If the address is definitely right, go back and confirm that "Install unknown apps" is switched on specifically for Downloader, which is a separate per-app toggle on recent Fire OS versions and is easy to miss.
Login fails with invalid credentials
The server URL field is almost always the cause, not the account. It needs http:// at the front and the port at the end, shaped like http://server.com:8080, and nothing after the port. Values pasted from a chat often carry an invisible trailing space, so type the URL, username and password by hand once before you conclude the subscription itself is wrong.
The picture stutters in the evening
Try hardware decoding first, since switching it costs nothing: Settings, Player settings, hardware decoder. If the stick is on Wi-Fi and sits far from the router, a cheap Ethernet adapter usually settles it for good. And if your internet plan is fast yet streaming still chokes only at peak hours, that pattern points at your line rather than the stick.
The remote will not reach a sideloaded app
Sideloaded apps land at the very end of the Your Apps and Channels row, past everything Amazon installed, so scroll all the way right until you reach it. Then press the menu button on the remote and choose Move, so it sits with your everyday apps. This is why people often think the install failed when it has simply landed out of sight.

Firestick IPTV FAQ
Which app should I install on the Firestick?
Start with IPTV Smarters, because it is free and this guide has you running in about ten minutes. When the basic guide starts to annoy you, usually the first time you try to find a specific game, sideload TiViMate the same way and switch to it. Both take the identical AurexTV login, so trying the second one costs you nothing but a few minutes.
Will this work on the Fire TV Stick Lite?
Yes, the steps are identical because the Lite runs the same Fire OS. Its limit is 1080p output, though, so on the Lite you will never see the 4K feeds even if your plan includes them. For a main television the 4K or 4K Max stick is the one to buy; for a spare bedroom set the Lite is perfectly fine.
Can I use the same login on the stick and my phone?
Install AurexTV on as many devices as you own; the plan limits how many streams play at once, not how many places it is installed. On a single-device plan both the stick and the phone can be signed in while only one plays at a time. If you want two screens running together, the two-device plan removes that cap.
Do I need a VPN to use IPTV on the Firestick?
No, a VPN is not required to set up or to watch. Some people add one only because their internet provider slows streaming traffic at busy times, in which case a VPN can smooth the picture. It is entirely optional, and AurexTV works normally without one on any ordinary home connection.
How do I stop the trial if I do not want to continue?
You do nothing, and you are not tied in. The trial runs out on its own, and if you want to keep going you renew over WhatsApp; if you do not, you simply let it lapse. Because no card is stored inside the app, nothing can be charged unless you choose to renew.
