Step-by-step setup
Have your AurexTV details ready
Find your personal M3U link in your welcome message. It is in the form http://server:port/get.php with your username and password attached as parameters, which means the link itself is your login; guard it as carefully as a password, because anyone who holds it holds your subscription. Keep it on the device you will paste it into to avoid retyping a long address.
Open the M3U option in your player
Each player hides it slightly differently. In VLC choose Media, then Open Network Stream. Smart IPTV takes it at siptv.app/mylist against the TV MAC address. Kodi needs the IPTV Simple Client add-on and its M3U URL field. TiViMate and IPTV Smarters accept one under "M3U playlist", though in those two the Xtream login serves you better.
Paste the link and load
Paste your M3U link into the player field exactly as written, with nothing added to either end, and start it. The player reads the list and fills in the channels; a large list can take a moment to parse the first time, so let it finish before clicking around. Once it loads, you are watching.
Add the guide if the player asks
Some players want the program guide supplied separately from the channel list. It is the same server address ending in xmltv.php with your credentials attached, and support will send it across on request. Paste it into the player EPG field, and confirm your device clock and time zone are right for the US, UK, Canada or Australia so the times line up.
Build favorites where the player allows
Simpler players like VLC do not do favorites, but Kodi, Smart IPTV, TiViMate and Smarters all let you mark and reorder channels. Spend a couple of minutes trimming the list down to what you actually watch, so you are not scrolling past thousands of entries every evening. This one habit makes any M3U player far more pleasant.
Run through the first-night checklist
Confirm a few channels play, that the guide shows the right times where your player supports one, and that your favorites are saved. If the list loads slowly, the tip below helps. And keep in mind your AurexTV account is no-commitment during the trial, so you decide over WhatsApp whether to keep it once you have seen it work.
Common errors and fixes
The list loads very slowly
There are thousands of entries in that file, and simpler players parse every one before showing anything. Let it finish rather than assuming it has hung. If a player is consistently slow, move to one that handles categories, such as TiViMate or IPTV Smarters, or ask support for an M3U filtered down to your own country, which is a much shorter file.
The link opens in a browser as a download
Clicking an M3U link in a browser often just downloads the file instead of playing it, which is normal. You do not open the link in a browser; you paste it into a media player such as VLC using Open Network Stream. If you did download a file, you can also open that file from within VLC, but pasting the link is cleaner.
Channels play but there is no guide
VLC and a plain M3U carry no program guide at all, so an empty EPG there is expected rather than a fault. For a guide, either use the Xtream login in a player that supports it, or ask support for the separate xmltv.php guide URL and paste it into a player like Kodi or TiViMate that accepts one.
The player says the URL is invalid
An M3U link that is rejected has usually been shortened, wrapped onto two lines in a chat, or had a character dropped when copied. Paste it again in full on a single line, with nothing added to either end. If it still fails, ask support to resend the link so you are working from a clean copy.

Why do free M3U lists from GitHub stop working?
Because they are scraped streams republished for anyone to grab, so thousands of people hammer the same source at once. The host blocks them or simply falls over, usually within days, and there is nobody to contact when it breaks. Many of the sites handing them out are also a known route for malware. A paid playlist tied to your own account is the whole difference.
Should I use the M3U link or the Xtream login?
Use the Xtream login wherever your player offers it, because it brings the guide and on-demand library automatically. Keep the M3U link for the players that only understand a playlist, such as VLC and Kodi. They carry the identical account, so it is purely a question of which format the app in front of you prefers.
Is my M3U link private to me?
Yes. Your M3U link has your own username and password built into it, so it is unique to your account and should be treated exactly like a password. Do not post it anywhere or share it, because anyone with the link can watch on your subscription and use up your streams. If it ever leaks, ask support to reissue it.
Does the M3U link expire?
Your M3U link stays valid for as long as your AurexTV subscription is active, and it carries your account details inside it. If your plan lapses the link stops working until you renew, and if you ever suspect it has leaked, ask support to reissue it, which replaces the old one so anyone holding the old link loses access.
Can I use one M3U link on several devices?
Yes. The same link works in any player that accepts an M3U URL, on as many devices as you like; the plan limits how many streams play at once, not where the link is loaded. Because it contains your login, though, only share it between your own devices and never post it anywhere public.
